Title : THE GOOD LUST (+18 )®

I discovered that many people often misunderstand emotions. They mistake fantasy for reality, and lust for love. i know, i was one of them.

My dad had just been posted on a mission to Equatorial Guinea, by the Nigerian government. This would be his 5th mission since i was born. Because he was always on the move, he hardly had time to spend with us so he requested that me and my younger brother Emmanuel relocate to Equatorial Guinea for our schooling, so we could keep him company. I was excited as this would be my second time out of the country. I had just celebrated my 16th year birthday party. It wasn't much of a party because it was only my brothers that were present. ( thanks to my strict parents! ). At that time, i attended the d-ivy college, i didn't tell any of my friends i was leaving. I guess they wondered what happened afterwards.

Hurry up Joe! We have a plane to catch, said my dad as he stood by door to my room looking at his watch. I quickly jumped into my pants, put on my shirt buttoned to the neck. Like my dad always says " you give a good impression when you look smart". I got my bags out to the living room, then i went to check on Emmanuel. He was 10 at that time, my sister Priscilla was getting him dressed. Hurry up! I said, echoing my dad. Then i went to my mom and said "see ya later" (chuckling)

Finally, we were on the road. Luckily for us, there was no Traffic as that is a common occurrence in Lagos. At the airport, my dad gave us our tickets and we were asked to move on to the waiting room for V.I.P's .(thank you, thank you):). The flight was to take us to calabar were we would board a direct flight to Malabo( the capital of Equatorial guinea ). "Aero contractors Flight 22FKJ to Calabar is now boarding" said the lady in the speaker. My dad was discussing with a friend so he asked us to go ahead and board. I'll be right behind you, he said. I didn't waste much time i held Emmanuel by the hand as we climbed up the stairs into the aircraft. It was Boeing 737 (my favorite). The air hostess checked our tickets and directed us to our seats. "FC" (you know). I sat down on that chair close to the window and just then, i started to miss my friends Dolapo, Udi and Nnamdi. I wondered if i would see them anytime soon. My dad came and interrupted my flash back saying " put on your brothers seat belt as mine was already fastened.

Up in the air, the air hostess came to me and offered me sweats. I said no looking at my dads face, he had always warned us not to accept gifts from strangers, but my dad told me it was OK to take it. He said " you paid for it right?" with a smile on his face. It took about 45 minutes till we got to calabar. Were we finally boarded a plane to Malabo. The first thing i noticed when i got to Malabo was the language the lady in the speaker was speaking now... Spanish?! I yeld in my head. OMG, how am i gonna cope with communication? I asked my self. We had to wait at the airport because my dad brought much baggage. I slept and woke up and we were still at the airport. After 5 hours waiting, my dad told us that it was time to go. I woke Emmanuel up, he too had gone to "wonderland". Outside the "aeroporto" (airport in Spanish). My dad driver Emma came to get our bags, because of respect we called him uncle Emma. Driving from the airport to the house i stared at the new environment i was in. That the president house, uncle Emma said pointing to the left. My dad gave me the key to the house after we had dropped him at the Embassy where he worked as the "DA" ( Defense Accountant ). Uncle Emma drove us into the Nigerian Embassy Estate ( located at Cara colas Panalpina). I couldn't help but to admire the green field and beautiful flowers inside the estate. Uncle Emma pulled up at my dads driveway, Got us to the house, i opened the door, inside i noticed books on the dining table. OMG, what have i gotten ma self into, i said. Knowing i was gonna read at least half of the hundreds of books on the table.
